February 7, 2011 - Penn Fusion Soccer Academy (PFSA) is honored to be invited into the Elite Clubs National League (ECNL) for the 2011-2012 season. The ECNL is a national youth soccer league founded in 2009 for U-15 through U-18 girls’ teams for the purpose of providing the highest level of competition and the best developmental environment for American female youth soccer players, as well as an identification and development program, which will seek to include players in US Soccer’s National Teams. The ECNL will grow to include the U14 age group in the 2011-2012 season. "To be able to receive this invitation really supports the decisions we made when we developed Penn Fusion. Our girls teams are extremely strong and the future rising teams have a lot of potential," noted Lee Martin, PFSA Director of Coaching. Penn Fusion Soccer Academy is a joint venture between two of Pennsylvania’s largest, longest serving and successful soccer clubs; namely Spirit United Soccer Club (SUSC) and West Chester United Soccer Club (WCUSC). Both clubs provide a feeder system of elite players for Penn Fusion Soccer Academy. Throughout their history both clubs have a distinguished record for developing the female youth soccer player for the collegiate, national, and professional stage. For more on the ECNL click here.
